Viking Neptune
The MS Viking Neptune is an ideal vessel for our journey. One of the new generation of river vessels, she is one of the best of her kind in Europe. Built in Holland in 2001 she is owned and operated by Viking River Cruises, the Swiss based river cruising specialists who operate 26 vessels on most of the major rivers in Europe and Russia. The MS Viking Neptune offers beautifully appointed and unusually large cabins with picture windows, private shower and toilet, television, individual climate control and direct dial telephone. The passenger cabins are arranged over three decks. The well designed public areas are spacious and include a single sitting dining room offering international cuisine, buffet breakfast, three course lunch and four course dinner.
Other facilities include a lounge and bar with panoramic windows, a smaller lounge and library, shop, and on the top deck there are spacious observation areas.
