Viking Spirit

The MS Viking Spirit is an ideal vessel for our journey. One of the new generation of river vessels, she is one of the best of her kind in Europe. Built in Holland and launched in 2001, she is owned and operated by Viking River Cruises, the Swiss based river cruising specialists. The MS Viking Spirit accommodates up to 150 passengers in beautifully appointed and unusually large cabins with picture windows, private shower and toilet, colour satellite television and video, individual climate control and direct-dial telephone. The well-designed public areas are spacious and include a one-sitting dining room offering international cuisine. Other facilities include a lounge and bar with panoramic windows, a smaller lounge and library, shop, and on the top deck there are observation areas.
