The 124 passenger Viking Fontane, owned and operated by the Swiss run Viking River Cruises, offers a wonderfully comfortable base for our cruises. All cabins have a large picture window and convert from a sitting room by day to a bedroom at night, with two lower beds. Each cabin has private facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning. Spacious public areas include an attractive lounge and bar with panoramic views, and the top deck is given over to observation and relaxation. The quality of the meals is excellent, offering a mix of international and local cuisine.
